Privacy Policy

How Brightstone Management handles information connected with this website and inquiries you choose to send us.

Last updated: September 29, 2026

1. Scope of this policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Brightstone Management (“Brightstone,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information in connection with this public website and inquiries a visitor chooses to send to us through it. It applies to information collected through the pages and contact features on this website.

This policy does not replace a lease, community rule, management agreement, resident notice, client agreement, or privacy notice that applies to a specific property or service. If Brightstone manages a property and handles resident, tenant, owner, employee, or applicant information in that role, the applicable property documents and instructions may govern that information. A third-party resident portal or payment platform has its own privacy practices.

2. Information you may provide

If you use the Contact Us page or contact us by email or phone, you may choose to provide:

  • Contact details such as your name, email address, phone number, and preferred way to reach you;
  • Organization or role information, such as a company, ownership group, association, board, lender, or service provider;
  • Property information such as an address, property type, approximate unit or building count, management needs, or service questions; and
  • The content of your message and any files you choose to send with it.

Please provide only information relevant to your inquiry. Do not send Social Security numbers, financial account credentials, payment card data, passwords, medical details, identity documents, or other highly sensitive information through a general website inquiry.

3. Information processed when you visit

Like most websites, the hosting and security systems that deliver this site may process basic technical information needed to respond to a browser request and protect reliable operation. Depending on the system configuration, this may include an IP address, browser or device details, requested page, referring page, date and time, and response or error information. These records may be used to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and maintain the website.

This site currently has no visitor account, checkout, or Brightstone-operated behavioral advertising program. It loads typefaces from Google Fonts; when your browser requests those font files, Google may receive technical request information under its own policies. We do not use that font request to identify you to Brightstone.

4. How the contact form works

The contact form is designed to prepare an email in the email application available on your device. Submitting the form does not post the message to a Brightstone website database. Your email application opens with the details you entered; the message is sent to Brightstone only if you choose to send it. Your email provider and any systems used to transmit or store your email will process it under their own terms and privacy practices.

Once received, Brightstone may retain and use the inquiry to respond, discuss the property or services requested, keep a business record, and follow up where appropriate. Email is not a secure channel for passwords, payment information, or sensitive personal records.

5. How we use information

Information voluntarily provided to Brightstone may be used to:

  • Respond to questions, service requests, and management inquiries;
  • Understand the property and requested services so we can assess whether to prepare a proposal;
  • Communicate about a potential or active business relationship;
  • Route an inquiry to the appropriate Brightstone contact or authorized property representative;
  • Maintain business, operational, security, and compliance records; and
  • Protect the website, investigate suspected misuse, and comply with legal obligations.

We do not use this website to make automated decisions about visitors or to evaluate a person’s eligibility for housing, credit, employment, or insurance.

6. When information may be shared

Brightstone does not sell personal information submitted through this website. We may share relevant information only as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, including:

  • With Brightstone personnel who need it to respond to or manage the inquiry;
  • With a property owner, association, client, or authorized representative when the inquiry concerns a property or service they control and sharing is appropriate;
  • With service providers that support website hosting, email, communications, security, or business operations, subject to their role and applicable obligations;
  • With vendors or professional advisers when you request coordination or when the information is needed for an authorized property matter;
  • When required by law, legal process, or a government request, or when reasonably necessary to protect people, property, rights, or the security of our services; or
  • As part of a business reorganization or transfer, subject to applicable law and appropriate handling of the information.

We do not share website inquiry information with third parties for their independent targeted advertising.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

This website does not currently require visitors to create accounts and does not use Brightstone-operated advertising cookies or analytics pixels. Your browser, website host, or a third-party resource may use technical mechanisms needed to deliver, secure, or display a page. Browser settings can help you manage cookies and external resource requests, though blocking essential resources may affect how some parts of the site display.

External websites linked from this site may use their own cookies and tracking tools. Their practices are governed by their own notices, not this policy.

8. Retention of information

We keep inquiry information for as long as reasonably needed to respond, maintain appropriate business records, manage an ongoing relationship, meet legal or accounting requirements, resolve disputes, and protect our rights. Retention periods vary with the nature of the inquiry and any property or service relationship. When information is no longer reasonably needed, it may be deleted, de-identified, or securely disposed of, subject to legal and operational requirements.

9. Information security

Brightstone uses reasonable administrative and technical practices intended to protect information under its control. No website, email system, or method of transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Please use care when sending information online and do not send credentials or sensitive records through the general contact form.

If you believe you sent information to us in error or have a concern about a message, contact us using the details below.

10. Your choices and privacy requests

You may choose not to provide optional information, although we may need basic contact and property details to respond to a request. If you receive a business communication from Brightstone and no longer want follow-up of that kind, you may reply and ask us to stop, subject to communications needed to complete a requested service or meet legal obligations.

Depending on your location and the circumstances, applicable privacy law may provide rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of certain personal information, or to object to or limit certain processing. These rights are subject to legal exceptions and verification requirements. To make a request, email hello@brightstonemgt.com with “Privacy Request” in the subject and describe the request. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to confirm your identity and will respond as required by applicable law.

11. Children’s information

This website is intended for property owners, boards, residents, tenants, business partners, and other adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and Brightstone does not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children through this website. If you believe a child has provided information through the site, contact us so we can review and address the matter.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes to the website, our practices, or applicable requirements. The “Last updated” date below identifies the current version. A revised policy applies from its posted date, subject to applicable law.
